Volunteer's Parade 5th October 2000
On Saturday 30th April 2005, Andrew was featured in a Commonwealth Games feature in the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age on Volunteers. Andrew was sharing his experience at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, to encourage volunteers for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. Click here for the full article.
Andrew was one of 54,000 proud volunteers, and was stationed at the Beach Volley Ball at Bondi Beach. On the Thursday following the games, a huge parade for all of the Volunteers was held through the streets of Sydney.
